A Very Spooky Good Time

It's a nightmare on our street & we're creepin' it real with some spooktacular Halloween party ideas. We partnered up with some local makers to create a v spoopy photoshoot.

Blood Shots

This crimson cocktail style shot will give your guests total vampire vibes. It’s easy, all you need is 1 shot of vodka and 1 shot of POM juice mixed.
That’s it; simple spooky.

Pumpkin Spiked Punch

A captivating punch display that will please all of your PSL obsessed guests.

What you need:

- 750 ML Spice Rum
- 1 Cup Orange Juice
- 1 Cup Lemon Juice
- 1/2 TSP Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 TSP Nutmeg
- 1/2 Cup Organic Unsweetened Pumpkin Puree
- 3 Cups Soda Water
- Large Pumpkin
- Dry Ice

Begin by mixing your ingredients in a pitcher (Other than Dry Ice and the Pumpkin) and place it in the fridge to cool. While you wait prepare the Pumpkin by slicing off the top, gutting and removing seeds and shaving the sides down to fit two bowls inside. You will want room for one bowl to hold warm water and dry ice and a smaller bowl that will nest inside the dry ice bowl. Once you have all of this prepared you can set it aside until your guests arrive. When you are ready to serve place the bowls into the pumpkin. Add hot water to the outer bowl, the punch to the top bowl and place dry ice in the outer bowl. The result is a smokey haunted pumpkin will bewitch guests.

Boo-tini

A deliciously strong saketini that will keep your guests from ghosting your party.

What you need:

- 1 bottle Takara Sho Chiku Bai Nigori Sake
- 4 oz Vodka
- 4 drops of DoTerra On Guard (Optional)

Add ingredients together, shake with chipped ice and serve. Recipe makes 2-4 drinks. Garnish with decorative eyeballs to give your spirit(s) personality. We prepared lollipop sticks with googley eyes using a dab of hot glue on each.

Fall Feels Sangria

A fall spiced twist on a classic cocktail

What you need:

- 2 Apples
- 2 (750 ML) bottles of Pinot Grigio
- 1 cup sparkling water
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 12 ounces of Strawberry slices
- 1 pint of Rasberries
- 1 pint of Blackberries
- 4 Cinnamon Sticks
- 2 Rosemary stems
- 2 Mint stems

Prepare this drink the night before your party so the ingredients can mix and work their magic.

Cut your apples into small pieces, remove rosemary and mint leaves and finely chop them. Add all ingredients (except sparkling water) in one large container and place in the fridge until you are ready to serve. When the party begins add your sparkling water and serve in a pitcher. Serve with a sugar rim.

The last few items we chose to keep our get together spooky was a moody cheese plate with assorted cheese, crackers, figs and pomegranate and a monster mash of assorted Trader Joe’s sweets and custom donuts and cupcakes by @hellosugarsweet.

Mix up your drinks, slap up some spider webs, light a divine smelling incense (@SolitaryMagic), put on some tunes and get ready to party like the dead! Happy haunting everyone.
